Item #2: Torn Sock

Here is what I found in my child's pocket:

This is what I made to Reuse it:


I know..."Sock bands-the next shabby-chic trend!"

How I made it:

-Cut the different colored stripes on sock & layer

-Sew in a haphazard way using various pleats and folds

-Cut flower from sock material

-Cut leaves from felt

-Hand-sew flower on

-Top with scrapbooking brad head(I took off the back)

Cost: $0
I used materials I had on hand

I wonder what challenge I will discover next. Could anything possibly beat a torn old sock?
